The purpose of this study is to assess the level of implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and FinancialTechnology (FinTech) in commercial banks of Uzbekistan and to evaluate the efficiency of digital banking services basedon the proposed Digital Banking Intelligence Index (DBII). The research employs comparative analysis, a systemsapproach, index modeling, and an integrated evaluation methodology. A novel DBII framework is developed by integratingfive key dimensions: artificial intelligence adoption, FinTech integration, digital banking services, operational efficiency,and customer experience. Using this methodology, six commercial banks operating in Uzbekistan were comparativelyevaluated to determine their level of digital transformation. The findings indicate that TBC Bank Uzbekistan, Kapitalbank,and Anor Bank achieved the highest DBII scores due to their advanced digital banking infrastructure, extensive FinTechintegration, and customer-oriented digital services. In contrast, Ipoteka Bank and Agrobank demonstrated relativelylower digital maturity, indicating the need for further investment in innovative technologies and digital service development.The proposed DBII provides a comprehensive analytical framework for measuring digital transformation, benchmarkingcommercial banks, and supporting strategic decision-making in the banking sector.

Responsible research assessment (RRA) reforms, advanced through initiatives such as CoARA and the HR Excellence in Research label, are typically framed as matters of institutional design and scholarly culture. This paper argues that RRA also operates within distinct national legal frameworks that shape how recruitment disputes are resolved and how the boundaries of merit are negotiated in practice. The study adopts a comparative mixed-methods case-study design, combining descriptive quantitative mapping with qualitative legal analysis of Italy and Finland, two civil-law countries with markedly different levels of university autonomy and engagement with RRA initiatives. For Italy, the quantitative analysis draws on a 2023 observatory of administrative case law on university recruitment, while the qualitative component examines specific labour court decisions concerning career progression within the National Research Council (CNR). For Finland, the analysis is based on specific statements issued by the Equality Ombudsman and the Parliamentary Ombudsman concerning university recruitment. By analysing specific concrete cases, the study identifies recurring legal fault lines, such as disputes over evaluation criteria, committee composition and procedural transparency and compares how courts (Italy) and ombudsman institutions (Finland) review the legality of academic recruitment and promotion decisions. The findings show that, despite very different oversight architectures, judicial and quasi-judicial actors in both countries converge on the practical outcome of avoiding direct review of scientific merit, albeit for different reasons, self-restraint by courts with full jurisdiction in Italy, and the ombudsman's structurally limited mandate in Finland.

Incidence of myocardial infarction (MI) worldwide has increased dramatically, especially in low- and middle-income countries, and has been worsened by fast aging of the population with consequent increase in the number of co-morbidities, expenses for healthcare and readmissions to hospital. This study assessed the efficacy of a nurse-based intervention for enhancing the ability of self-management and adherence to treatment of those patients who sustained MI in the hospitals of Durg, Chhattisgarh. Quantitative experimental design (pretest – posttest) and the Middle Range Theory of Self-Care of Chronic Illness were used in this study. A total of 68 post-MI patients were recruited by purposive sampling and divided into 2 groups: experimental group (34) and control group (34). Collection of data involved demographic and clinical data as well as the Coronary Artery Disease Self-Management Scale (CSMS), which was used for evaluating the research outcomes. The intervention consisted of cardiac rehabilitation sessions, prescribed diet, and medication plan. The control cohort received standard treatment. Pre- and post-tests were conducted at 15 days. The results showed considerable improvement in the experimental group, where the average score on self-management increased from 67.18 ± 12.42 to 92.85 ± 10.84. Use of a paired t-test resulted in the finding that the differences are very significant (t = 8.63, p < 0.001). In the post-test, most individuals reached the “excellent” level of self-management while the control group did not show any significant progress. Chi-square analysis revealed meaningful links between self-management scores obtained at the pretest and socio-demographic characteristics included in the analysis, such as education and residence, but no connection was found with any other socio-demographic or clinical characteristics. The study showed that nurse-led interventions made a significant contribution to the increase of self-management capabilities and treatment adherence in patients with MI and proved their importance in cardiac rehabilitation.

This article develops a Field-to-Hash screening method for evaluating the conversion of gasfrom low-debit, depleting, and transport-isolated hydrocarbon fields into electricity for Bitcoin mining. Theproposed method integrates sustainable gas flow, generator efficiency, Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE),ASIC efficiency, and annual operational availability. A 10 MW power plant requires approximately 54.5–65.8thousand m³ of natural gas per day and can support approximately 606 PH/s of computing capacity beforeaccounting for downtime.
