AbstractThe kamikaze attacks carried out by the Imperial Japanese Air Force during World War II represent one ofthe most studied war phenomena from historical and tactical perspectives; however, their analysis fromclassical physics remains little explored in Spanish-language academic literature. This paper examines thephysical principles governing these suicidal air attacks, using Newtonian classical mechanics as aconceptual framework. It seeks to demonstrate how the laws of kinetic energy, linear momentum, projectilemotion and inelastic collisions allow describing and quantifying the damage produced when a kamikazeaircraft strikes a warship. A bibliographic review of scientific articles and specialized texts on classicalmechanics and aerodynamics was carried out, paraphrasing their content to build a theoretical frameworkapplied to the historical context. Four fundamental physical phenomena present in each kamikaze attackwere identified: projectile motion during the dive phase, kinetic energy accumulated by the aircraft, theperfectly inelastic collision against the target, and the transfer of linear momentum to the ship. Classicalphysics provides sufficient tools to understand and calculate the destructive magnitude of these attacks, evidencing that impact velocity is the most determining variable in the damage generated. Keywords: Kamikaze, kinetic energy, inelastic collision, projectile motion, linear momentum, aerodynamics, World War II

This article introduces First Person Perspective Risk (FPPR), a conceptual framework for evaluating the privacy, ethical, cybersecurity, and governance risks created when wearable artificial intelligence — such as AI-enabled smart glasses — observes healthcare interactions from the clinician's own point of view. Unlike smartphones or fixed cameras, these devices remain within the clinician's field of view throughout a patient encounter, creating governance challenges not fully addressed by existing HIPAA, workplace, or health-IT policy. Drawing on recent healthcare industry reporting, legal analysis, and the peer-reviewed literature on smart glasses adoption in clinical settings, this article proposes the FPPR Governance Framework — evaluating wearable AI across Field of View, Processing, Permissions, and Risk Reduction — as a practical starting point for healthcare organizations piloting this technology. The framework is offered as a thought-leadership model to guide discussion and organizational policy, not as an established regulatory or legal standard, and the article calls for future research to test its usefulness across clinical settings.

This study aims to assess the capacity of Open Distance e-learning (ODeL) to provide opportunities for lifelong learning among adult learners, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. This research examines how online distance learning (ODeL) promotes equality, accessibility, and flexibility while also finding scenarios when ODeL surpasses conventional face-to-face learning methods. We gathered data via comprehensive interviews with ODeL practitioners employing qualitative approaches; thereafter, we analyzed the data thematically to emphasize recurring trends. Research indicates that although Open and Distance e-learning (ODeL) improves flexibility and accessibility for learners with restricted time and resources, persistent systemic obstacles, including digital disparities, elevated dropout rates, and financial limitations, continue to pose substantial hurdles. The paper provides evidence-based recommendations, including targeted interventions to address these barriers and strategies to enhance ODeL’s impact on marginalized populations. The study critically evaluates ODeL’s strengths and limitations and contributes to ongoing discussions on equity and inclusion in lifelong education.
