Transverse sclerite arched, with anterior margin concave, posterior convex, with minute projections. Branch of lophi widened. Hook of lophi in dorsal view rounded, shortened. Ectophallic valves projected posteriorly.Description. This species is well described in Queiroz & Rafael (2019).Comments. This species can be separated from all other cogeneric by the projected ectophallic valves, except for Milenascopia robusta comb. nov., which also has this character. From this latter species, Milenascopia bilineata can be differentiated by the shape of the transverse sclerite, which is arched in Milenascopia bilineata and rectangular, with all margins straight in Milenascopia robusta comb. nov.Geographical records. The name of this species is a tribute to Fernando Campos de Domenico, a Brazilian entomologist, in recognition of all of his contributions to the study of Proscopiidae.Diagnosis. Fastigium with rounded apex in dorsal view, with constant from base to apex, bacilliform; in lateral view with slender aspect, being 1.5 times longer than wide, with round apex (Fig. 58A). Transverse sclerite translucent; posterior margin sinuous (Fig. 59A). Branch of lophi slender, with mesial margin sinuous, forming constrictions basally and apically (Fig. 59A). Accessory plate anteriorly in the form of a widened tube; posteriorly also tubuliform (Fig. 59B). Sclerite of distal sac small, inconspicuous (Figs. 59B–C).Description. Coloration only known by dry specimen, with the body mostly dark brown, varying between 6.5 and 6.8 cm. The spots on gena are very faintly recognized, near the epimeron regions 1 and 2 and subgenital plate are preserved and slightly visible, being light brown (Figs. 58A–B). Head. With slight constriction below the eye in dorsal view (Fig. 58A). Frons rugose. Gena rugose with light brown spot, inconspicuous (Fig. 58B). Fastigium with rounded apex in dorsal view, with constant from base to apex, bacilliform (Fig. 58A); in lateral view with slender aspect, being 2.2 times longer than wide, with round apex (Fig. 58B). Thorax. Prothorax 3.6 times longer than meso- and metathorax combined; covered by minute granulation and having a rugose aspect (Fig. 58A–B). Posterior femur reaching the basal third of the tergite 5 (Fig. 58B). Posterior tibia with 10 anterodorsal and 11 posterodorsal spines (Figs. 58A–B). Abdomen. Abdominal segments 8–10 with inconspicuous setae (Figs. 58A–B). Tergite 9 in lateral view with straight margins (Fig. 58E). Tergite 10 with convex dorsal margin (Fig. 58E). Sternite 8 1.4 times shorter than sternite 9 (Figs. 58E–F). Genitalia. Transverse sclerite translucent, with anterior margin nearly straight; posterior margin sinuous (Fig. 59A). Branch of lophi slender, with mesial margin sinuous, forming constrictions basally and apically (Fig. 59A). Hook of lophi in dorsal view curled anteriorad, conspicuously arched, with apex rhomboid; in lateral view elongated, with margins straight, pointing diagonally (Fig. 59B). Ectophallic valves not joining, subtriangular in dorsal view; with rounded small dots (Fig. 59A). Distal sac membranous, except for the sclerite of distal sac posteriorly; entirely with irregular shape (Figs. B–C). Proximal sac membranous and indistinguishable from distal sac. Accessory plate anteriorly in the form of a widened tube; posteriorly also tubuliform (Fig. 59B). Sclerite of distal sac small, inconspicuous (Figs. 59B–C).Comments. The name of this species is a tribute to Alba Bentos Pereira, a Uruguayan entomologist, in recognition of all of her contributions to the study of Proscopiidae.Diagnosis. Fastigium truncated in dorsal view, with anterior half narrowed between the eye, enlarging medially and gradually narrowing again, giving it an aspect of a diamond; lateral view with widened aspect, being 1.5 times longer than wide (Fig. 56A). Transverse sclerite fairly pigmented; posterior margin slightly concave (Fig. 57A). Branch of lophi slender, bacilliform (Fig. 57A). Accessory plate anteriorly in the form of a slender tube, posteriorly fan-like, seemingly with small ducts (Fig. 57B). Sclerite of distal sac conspicuous, large, very pigmented (Fig. 57D).Description. Coloration only known by dry specimen, with the body mostly dark brown, varying between 6.3 and 6.5 cm.
