Kamara kratxatxa Queiroz & Heleodoro sp. nov.Figs. 53A–G; 54A–DExamined material. Rafael cols.—Rede BIA”, “ Kamara kratxatxa, Queiroz & Heleodoro, 2026 ” (♂ MNRJ).Etymology. “ kratxaxa ” is a word from the Hexkaryana, a language from the Caribe family language, and means “grasshopper”, which when combined with the generic name, the name of this species is read as “jaguar grasshopper”.Diagnosis. Male fastigium in lateral view 1.6 times shorter than eye (Fig. 53C). Meso- and metasternal processes are conspicuously shallow and thin (Fig. 53E). Transverse sclerite with anterior margin concave, posterior convex (Fig. 54A). Connection between transverse sclerite and branch of lophi very slender (Fig. 54A). Branch of lophi wider than long in dorsal view (Fig. 54A). Hook of lophi short and robust, with rhomboid apex, curling anteriorad in dorsal view, point dorsad in lateral view (Fig. 54A). Ectophallic valves are mesially straight (Fig. 54A). Distal sac anteriorly with conspicuous pigmented striations (Figs. 54B–C).Description. ♂ (only known sex) (Figs. 53A–G, 54A–D) Slender body, dark brown on the head, chest, and abdomen, and lighter brown on the legs when dry; spots on gena, and around epimeron regions present, fainted. Ranging from 8.3 to 8.5 cm in length (Figs. 53A–B). Head. With slight constriction below the eye in dorsal view (Fig. 53A). Frons dark brown, smooth. Gena rugose with light brown spot, conspicuous (Fig. 53C). Eye two times wider than the smallest width of the head in dorsal view (Fig. 53A). Fastigium truncated in dorsal view; laterally with rounded apex, 1.6 times shorter than eye (Fig. 53A). Thorax. Prothorax 3.4 times longer than meso- and metathorax combined (Figs. 53A–B). Posterior femur reaching half of the length of the tergite 5 (Fig. 53B). Posterior tibia with 13 anterodorsal and 14 posterodorsal spines (Fig. 53A). Abdomen. Abdominal segments 8–10 with inconspicuous setae (Figs. 41A–B). Tergite 9 in lateral view with straight margins (Fig. 53F). Tergite 10 with convex dorsal margin (Fig. 53F). Sternite 8 1.6 times shorter than sternite 9 (Fig. 53F). Genitalia. Transverse sclerite with anterior margin concave, posterior convex (Fig. 54A). Connection between transverse sclerite and branch of lophi very slender (Fig. 54A). Branch of lophi wider than long in dorsal view (Fig. 54A). Hook of lophi short and robust, with rhomboid apex, curling anteriorad in dorsal view, point dorsad in lateral view; very pigmented at the tip (Fig. 54A). Ectophallic valves are mesially straight, well sclerotized and pigmented (Fig. 54A). Phallotreme evident (Fig. 54A). Distal sac anteriorly with conspicuous pigmented striations (Figs. 54A–B). Proximal sac inconspicuous (Figs. 54A–B). Ejaculatory duct very sclerotized, gradually widening towards apex, where it slightly narrows again (Figs. 54A–B).Comments. Female unknown.Geographical records. BRAZIL, Acre, Rio Branco, Bujari (Fig. 47).

Celatus Queiroz & Heleodoro gen. nov.Figs. 39; 41A–F; 44A–FType species. Celatus nath gen. nov. et sp. nov. (pres. desig.). (Holotype ♂, INPA).Etymology. Masculine name. Celatus comes from Latin and means “hidden”; the name refers to the great difficulty of finding males of this group in nature.Included species:Celatus nath Queiroz & Heleodoro sp. nov. (type species)Diagnosis. Male with straight and short fastigium, with a height ending below the fourth antennomere (Figs. 41A– F). Gena with a rounded, whitish spot (Figs. 41B,E). Meso- and metathorax without spots (Figs. 41C; 42A). Mid femur shorter than the second tergite (Figs. 41A–B). Male genitalia with membranous endophallum. Distal sac with irregular shape when empty (Figs. 43C–D). Proximal sac balloon-shaped when inflated (Figs. 43C–D). Ejaculatory duct smooth, wider at the base and narrowing towards the apex (Figs. 43C–D). Ejaculatory duct connected to the medial portion of the proximal sac (Figs. 43C–D). Female with tetra-lamellate fastigium in lateral view (Figs. 44B,E). Pronotum with conspicuous mid longitudinal carina (Fig. 44A). Basivalvular sclerite short, sword-shaped with a wide base, gradually tapering to the apex (Fig. 45D). Spermatheca with a very thin, long copulatory chamber of constant width; duct conspicuously contorted, almost like a ball of wool; apical diverticulum shaped like a golf club (Fig. 45F).Comments. Celatus gen. nov. is very similar to Kamara gen. nov. and Milenascopia not only in body shape, but also in the brown coloration with dark spots of females and the spots concentrated on the gena of males. However, this genus can be differentiated from the others by the male genitalia with absence of sclerotization in the endophallus and by the copulatory chamber of the spermatheca which is very thin, long and of constant width.Geographical records.
