En el presente estudio se identificaron múltiples deficiencias en la gestión del mantenimiento, como la ausencia de planificación, ejecución, registros incompletos y una baja disponibilidad operativa de los equipos en las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas. Estas condiciones afectan directamente la productividad y continuidad en la producción; frente a esta problemática, se aplicó a una muestra de 12 organizaciones del Cantón Antonio Ante-Ecuador, la Metodología de Gestión de Mantenimiento basada en la norma NTE-INEN-EN 15341, para evaluar y mejorar el desempeño del mantenimiento apoyada en cuatro fases: Diagnóstico, Diseño, Implementación y Verificación, mediante indicadores clave, considerando los recursos y capacidades operativas. Al abordar el resultado de la aplicación de la metodología, se logró mejorar las actividades de mantenimiento mediante la estandarización de procedimientos técnicos preventivo y correctivo, instructivos, formatos de control y el fortalecimiento de la cultura de mejora continua en las empresas intervenidas. También, se evidenció una mayor capacidad de análisis de fallas, reducción de paradas inesperadas y una toma de decisiones más técnica y basada en datos. En conclusión, el modelo, por su flexibilidad y aplicabilidad, representa una herramienta eficaz para elevar la eficiencia, competitividad y sostenibilidad de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas manufactureras en zonas rurales.

El impacto social de la infraestructura desde un enfoque que supera lo técnico-económico, es analizado como objetivo en este estudio. Se utilizó una metodología de análisis documental de la literatura especializada reciente, mediada por la valoración crítica de carácter hermenéutico, donde se exploran tres dimensiones esenciales de la infraestructura: Impacto visual-ambiental, sostenibilidad y capital social. Los hallazgos revelaron que la infraestructura moldea identidades colectivas a través de su impacto visual y ambiental, donde el diseño armónico fortalece el bienestar comunitario. Se confirmó que la sostenibilidad de la infraestructura está vinculada a la integración en el ecosistema, respetando los espacios naturales y sociales. Se concluyó que la infraestructura ha sido diseñada con funcionalidad técnico-económica; mientras que su impacto como elemento cardinal social es disminuido, dejando a un lado el verdadero valor relacionado con la inclusividad, equidad y cohesión ciudadana. El potencial social de la infraestructura está representado por la mejora de la experiencia humana cuando hace uso de su debida funcionalidad, puesto que promueve en el ciudadano un estado de armonía y bienestar interno.

Propedia 26 is a curated dataset of protein–peptide interactions derived from experimentally determined three-dimensional structures deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB). This record contains the complete set of structure files and the corresponding annotation table, allowing the dataset to be used offline and in large-scale computational workflows, including machine learning applications.
Each entry represents a protein–peptide pair: one chain of 2–50 amino acid residues (the peptide) in contact with one chain of more than 50 residues (the protein). Structures were retrieved from the PDB on 8 September 2025. A pair was retained when at least one atom of the peptide and one atom of the protein were separated by 6 Å or less and the complex showed a buried surface area greater than zero. This release comprises 73,392 protein–peptide complexes.
Files in this record
propedia26_v8.zip (3.1 GB compressed; 15.4 GB uncompressed) — 73,392 structure files in PDB format, organised in directories named after the first character of the PDB identifier. Each file contains only the two chains that form the complex. File names follow the Propedia identifier convention <PDB ID>-<peptide chain>-<protein chain>, for example 1A1M-C-A.pdb.
propedia26_v14.csv (61 MB) — annotation table with one row per complex (73,392 rows, 71 columns), semicolon-separated. The id column matches the structure file names.
propedia26_removed_entries_bsa0.csv — 1,568 chain pairs from 126 PDB entries that satisfied the distance criterion but showed no buried surface area, and were therefore excluded from the released dataset. Provided for transparency and as a potential negative set for interface classification tasks.
propedia26_v8.zip.sha256 — checksum for integrity verification.
Annotations
For every complex, the annotation table provides:
Structure metadata retrieved from the PDB: title, classification, deposition date, resolution, experimental method, source organism, chain identifiers, descriptions and full sequences.
Physicochemical properties computed separately for the peptide and the protein chain: molecular weight, isoelectric point, instability index, aliphatic index, GRAVY, hydrophobic percentage, numbers of positively and negatively charged residues, atomic formula, total atom count and molar extinction coefficients (with and without disulfide bonds). Calculated with ProtParam as implemented in Biopython, complemented by in-house scripts.
Interface and surface descriptors: accessible surface area (ASA) of the complex, the peptide and the protein; buried surface area (BSA); buried peptide and protein areas; buried peptide percentage; and the list of protein residues within 6 Å of the peptide. Computed with NACCESS v2.1.1.
Predicted interaction energy: binding affinity (kcal/mol) and dissociation constant (M) at 25 °C, together with interfacial contact counts by residue type and the percentage of apolar and charged non-interacting surface residues. Computed with PRODIGY v2.4.0.
Predicted therapeutic profiles: probability of the peptide displaying anti-angiogenic (AAP), antibacterial (ABP), anticancer (ACP), anti-inflammatory (AIP), quorum-sensing (QSP) or surface-binding (SBP) activity.
Clustering information: sequence, interface and binding-site cluster assignments, cluster leaders and 100% sequence identity groups.
Values in the therapeutic, energy and physicochemical fields are computationally predicted and should be interpreted as hypotheses for downstream screening, not as experimentally validated measurements. Binding affinities were obtained with a predictor originally trained on protein–protein complexes and are best used to rank complexes rather than as absolute values.
Important: extracting the archive
Chain identifiers in the PDB are case-sensitive, and large assemblies frequently use lowercase chain names. As a result, this dataset contains 4,174 files whose names differ from another file only by letter case, for example 1S5L-F-A.pdb and 1S5L-f-a.pdb, which are distinct complexes.
Extracting the archive on a case-insensitive file system — the default on macOS and Windows — will silently overwrite these files, leaving 4,174 structures missing and no warning message. Extract the archive on a case-sensitive file system (standard on Linux; on macOS, a case-sensitive disk image can be created with hdiutil). After extraction, confirm that the number of files is correct:

Since the genre’s inception, mansions, houses, and dilapidated castles have been a key element in these narratives. These spaces serve as reminders of an unresolved and menacing past, as well as settings where the protagonists often find themselves trapped in cycles of violence.This article analyzes the construction and reappropriation of the "Gothic house" motif in two recent Mexican novels: Restauración by Ave Barrera and La transmigración de los cuerpos by Yuri Herrera. Although fundamentally different in their approaches, both narratives provide settings in which living protagonists coexist with corpses and stories of domestic violence that resurface through the interactions the living establish with the dead and the spaces they inhabit.

This work bring different ways of representing prime magic squares multiples of order 13. It is based on some central prime constants. These are C0:= 499979, C1:=1000003 and C2:=2000003. The multiple blocks are considered based on these prime constants. Two different types are considered. One type is concentric blocks of order 13, and the second type is prime magic square of order 13 nested with a prime magic square of order 9 composed of different sums prime magic squares of order 3. For each type there are two ways of representations. First, when all blocks are of equal size. Second, when the blocks are of equal sums for the orders 39 composed of different sums prime magic squares of order 13. Some initial works based on block-structured and/or block-bordered prime magic squares for the orders 6 to 51 are given by the author. See the referenced list. The author also presented higher-order concentric single-layer bordered prime magic squares of orders 1222 and 1223. A different work for prime magic squares of orders 960, 1220 and 1024 blocks of orders 3 and 4 is also given by the author. This repository provides the source code, trained model checkpoints, generated datasets, and machine-readable evaluation results associated with the study **“Learning to Target Incentives for Cooperation in Networked Games.”**
The project studies how targeted incentives can promote cooperation in networked evolutionary games with pairwise and higher-order interactions. It combines dynamical simulations, statistical analyses, robustness experiments, centrality-based controls, and a hypergraph neural network that learns to rank agents according to their causal rescue leverage.

The archive includes:

The main generated result files include `results.csv`, `raw_uc.npz`, model-evaluation JSON files, robustness and stringency summaries, cached evaluation records, and trained PyTorch checkpoints.
Reproducibility
The archive contains fixed random seeds, experimental protocols, cached results, and trained checkpoints so that the principal quantitative claims can be inspected without repeating every computationally expensive experiment.
A complete description of the relationship between scripts, outputs, analyses, and reported results is provided in `REPRODUCIBILITY.md`. File integrity can be checked using `MANIFEST.sha256`.
Some supplementary analyses are reproduced by rerunning the corresponding seeded scripts rather than by loading archived per-run plotting arrays.
Empirical contact-network data
The empirical evaluation uses the `contact-high-school` temporal simplicial dataset distributed by Austin R. Benson.
The original third-party files are not redistributed in this archive because the source page does not specify a repository-wide redistribution license. Download and deterministic preprocessing instructions are provided in `DATA_SOURCES.md`.
The archive includes the resulting machine-readable empirical evaluation metrics, but users who wish to rerun the preprocessing and evaluation must obtain the original dataset from its official source.
Software environment
The experiments were developed with Python 3.12 and use NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, and PyTorch. Tested dependency versions are listed in `requirements.txt`.
Large simulation sweeps and full neural-network retraining may require substantial CPU or GPU resources. Existing checkpoints and result records are included for verification.
License
Project-authored source code and documentation are released under the MIT License. Third-party datasets remain subject to their original licenses and terms of use.

Conference programme, promotional poster, and exhibition materials for the scientific outreach symposium “Crisi socioambiental global i canvis en els estils de vida”, held at the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB).
This symposium aimed to disseminate and transfer key topics from the environmental microcredential organised by the University of Alicante (UA) to the UB, including an exhibition of outreach posters adapted into Catalan.
The scientific programme was structured into two main thematic sessions:
1. Climate crisis and biodiversity loss: Core planetary boundaries, focusing on the analysis of global change impacts.
2. Perception, communication, and lifestyle changes, addressing environmental awareness, communication strategies, and sustainable behaviours.
The event received financial and institutional support from the Faculty of Geography and History (UB).

Three papers complete the rigorous derivation of the electron’s spin and mass fromvacuum geometry. (I) The Fractional Winding paper closes the gap flagged in the previous manuscript by applying the White-Franks theorem SL = W + Tw to the right-handed T2,3 trefoil. The minimal writhe W = +3 forces a Seifert twist T Sei f ert w = −3 to maintain SLSei f ert = 0. The physical Mobius phase-lock injects exactly ¨ +1/2 twist, giving T Mobius ¨ w = −5/2. Evaluated mod 1: s = (−5/2) (mod 1) = 1/2. The electron’s spin1/2 is the exact fractional residue of the Mobius framing on the Seifert surface of ¨ T2,3. (II)The −1/12 paper provides the rigorous hydrodynamic derivation of the Casimir residue from the Euler-Maclaurin formula applied to the discrete mode spectrum of the 861-node lattice.
