This report introduces an approach for the definition and identification of key IoT standardisation gaps in several initiatives.
There are now several IoT Standards Landscape reports available, including the work done by EUOS and AIOTI in “Landscape of Internet of Things (IoT) Standards V2” and by AIOTI in “High Priority IoT Standardisation Gaps and Relevant SDOs Release 2.0” and by ETSI in STF 505, on standards identification, that have identified a number of standards that are available, i.e. which have reached a final stage (Technical standard (TS) or TR, etc.) in a Standards Developing Organisation (SDO) or industrial consortia, and can be used for the work and developments of the IoT community.
However, the possibility to develop large-scale interoperable solutions within this IoT landscape may be hindered if some elements in this landscape are missing. Such elements, referred to as “gaps”, need to be carefully identified, characterised and prioritised in order to make sure that their resolution can be addressed by the IoT community (and more widely if needed).
The purpose of this document is to start a structured discussion within the EUOS (European Observatory) community and AIOTI community to provide consolidated technical elements as well as guidance and recommendations.

Spatial Analysis of Groundwater Availability and Quality in India: A GIS-Based Assessment

In India, groundwater is an essential supply of water for industrial operations, home use, irrigation, and ecosystem preservation. However, substantial regional disparities in groundwater supply and quality have been brought about by fast population increase, intensifying agriculture, urbanization, shifting rainfall patterns, and excessive groundwater use. The current work uses published groundwater assessments, geographical information system concepts, and secondary sources to investigate the spatial distribution of groundwater availability and quality throughout India. The availability of groundwater was assessed using yearly recharge, extractable groundwater resources, annual extraction, and the groundwater extraction stage. Compliance with drinking water regulations and the spatial distribution of nitrate, fluoride, electrical conductivity, arsenic, iron, manganese, and uranium were used to evaluate groundwater quality.
According to the 2024 national assessment, there will be 446.90 billion cubic meters of groundwater recharge per year, 406.19 billion cubic meters of extractable groundwater resources, and 245.64 billion cubic meters of extraction per year. The extraction stage at the national level was 60.47%. 73.4% of the 6,746 evaluation units were deemed safe, whilst 11.1% were overused. 71.7% of samples met allowable drinking-water standards, while 28.3% exceeded the limit for at least one indicator, according to groundwater quality monitoring at 14,978 stations. The most common contaminant was nitrate, which was followed by salinity and fluoride. The study shows that groundwater quality and availability are regionally heterogeneous and need to be controlled using GIS-based decision-support systems, demand control, pollution avoidance, artificial recharge, and aquifer-specific monitoring

This archive contains workflow code, reduced analysis outputs, plotting inputs, selected simulation intermediates, and checksum manifests associated with the manuscript “Coupled Chemical and Physical Crosslinks in Dry Crosslinked Poly(vinyl alcohol) Networks: A Controlled-Topology Molecular Dynamics Study.”
The simulations examine idealized dry poly(vinyl alcohol)–glutaraldehyde networks with controlled covalent strand length and fixed network topology. The archived materials support reproduction of the reported structural, hydrogen-bonding, dihedral-relaxation, segmental-mobility, and high-rate mechanical analyses. Large trajectory files and internal staged crosslink-generation code are not included; the archive treats the generated post-crosslinking LAMMPS data files as fixed inputs for downstream equilibration, conversion, and analysis workflows.
The workflow is organized around hydrogel_signac.py, with figure/table provenance documented in MAP_figures.md and file checksums provided in MANIFEST.sha256.
