This policy report addresses federal hemp protections, medical-cannabis access for veterans, cannabinoid research, and the need for coordinated physician-guided care. It combines a patient-centered policy argument with longitudinal clinical documentation, historical public advocacy, international agricultural and herbal knowledge, disability-related functional evidence, and original scholarship concerning cannabinoid use and psychoaffective outcomes.
The report distinguishes nonintoxicating CBD use from THC-related clinical and regulatory questions and argues that patient testimony should inform, but not replace, rigorous scientific research. It requests support for immediate federal protections preventing disruption of lawful hemp access and for legislation permitting Department of Veterans Affairs physicians to recommend medical cannabis where state law allows.
Supporting exhibits document four VA medical records across three specialties describing CBD use or reported functional benefit, a long-standing therapeutic and policy relationship involving Jamaican herbalist and certified commercial organic farmer Collin Artwell, historical medical-marijuana advocacy, and two related scholarly publications archived through Zenodo.

Task
The goal of the style change detection task is to identify text positions within a given multi-author document at which the author switches. Hence, a fundamental question is the following: If multiple authors together have written a text, can we find evidence for this fact; do we have a means to detect variations in the writing style? Answering this question belongs to the most difficult and most interesting challenges in author identification: Style change detection is the only means to detect plagiarism in a document if no comparison texts are given; likewise, style change detection can help to uncover gift authorships, to verify a claimed authorship, or to develop new technology for writing support.
Previous editions of the multi-author writing style analysis task aim at e.g., detecting whether a document is single- or multi-authored (2018), the actual number of authors within a document (2019), whether there was a style change between two consecutive paragraphs (2020, 2021, 2022), and where the actual style changes were located (2021, 2022). In 2022, style changes also had to be detected on the sentence level. The previously used datasets exhibited high topic diversity, which allowed the participants to leverage topic information as a style change signal. In the 2023 and 2024 editions of the writing style analysis task, special attention is paid to this issue. In 2025, the task was advanced to the sentence level, making it more realistic.
We ask participants to solve the following intrinsic style change detection task: for a given text, find all positions of writing style change on the sentence-level (i.e., for each pair of consecutive sentences, assess whether there was a style change). The simultaneous change of authorship and topic will be carefully controlled and we will provide participants with datasets of three difficulty levels:
Easy: The sentences of a document cover a variety of topics, allowing approaches to make use of topic information to detect authorship changes.
Medium: The topical variety in a document is small (though still present) forcing the approaches to focus more on style to effectively solve the detection task.
Hard: All sentences in a document are on the same topic.
All documents are provided in English and may contain an arbitrary number of style changes. However, style changes may only occur between sentences (i.e., a single sentence is always authored by a single author and contains no style changes).
Data
To develop and then test your algorithms, three datasets including ground truth information are provided (easy for the easy task, medium for the medium task, and hard for the hard task).
Each dataset is split into three parts:
training set: Contains 70% of the whole dataset and includes ground truth data. Use this set to develop and train your models.
validation set: Contains 15% of the whole dataset and includes ground truth data. Use this set to evaluate and optimize your models.
test set: Contains 15% of the whole dataset, no ground truth data is given. This set is used for evaluation.
You are free to use additional external data for training your models. However, we ask you to make the additional data utilized freely available under a suitable license.

This Python package provides a set of tools for quality control (QC) of marine meteorological reports. Marine meteorological reports typically comprise latitude, longitude, time, and date as well as one or more marine meteorological variables often including, but not limited to sea-surface temperature, air temperature, dew point temperature, sea level pressure, wind speed and wind direction. Quality control is the process of identifying and flagging reports and variables within reports that are likely to be in gross error. It is important to note that QC checks do not (and cannot) identify all incorrect reports and they can also identify good reports as being erroneous.

Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) is an important tool to test students’ literacy and numeracy skills as a basis for 21st-century competencies. In preparation for AKM, digital media can be a supporting tool to provide interactive assessment and direct feedback. This study aims to evaluate the quality and implementation of the digital media-based AKM preparation test for fifth-grade primary school students. Using an exploratory sequential mixed-methods design, 40 students from public elementary schools in East Jakarta were selected based on the availability of school facilities that support digital media. The instrument consisted of 30 multiple-choice items used for AKM preparation. The results indicated that the average student score was 54.57, with 28 out of 40 students (70.7%) scoring below this average. Interview results revealed gaps caused by curriculum inconsistencies and technical constraints during testing. Empirical analysis showed that 9 of the 30 items met validity requirements, while qualitative findings attributed the low validity to system fluctuations (lags and "force closes") that resulted in high cognitive demands. Furthermore, 50% of the items were categorized as "difficult." Based on student performance data and interview results, the study concluded that while digital media usage can increase student engagement and support administrative efficiency, the platform still requires item format optimization and interface stability. This study was limited by its small sample size (N=40). Future research is recommended to involve larger samples with more diverse characteristics to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of digital media use.
