Background: Neonatal period is the most vulnerable time for the survival of newborns. Despite many efforts done toimprove the outcome of neonates admitted to hospitals; it doesn’t show satisfactory progress. The study aimed to assessthe pattern, causes of admission, and factors associated with treatment outcomes. Methods: facility-based cross-sectional study design was conducted among 707 randomly selected neonates from March1 to 31, 2020. Data were extracted from medical records using a checklist adapted from the national neonatal registration book. The data were inserted into Epi-data version 3.1 and then exported into SPSS window version 22 for analysis.Bivariate and multivariate analyses were done to identify the association between independent variables and the outcome variable. Results: From 698 admitted neonates during the 2 years period, 594 of them were improved and 104 of them were notimproved. Neonatal sepsis, hypothermia, and low birth weight were the leading causes of admission to the hospital. Residency [ AOR=2.30, 95%CI: (1.3, 4.12)], low birth weight [AOR=2.52,95%CI:(1.24,5.13))], respiratory distress syndrome[AOR =2.86, 95%CI:(1.11.7.35)], neonatal sepsis [AOR= 2.48, 95%CI: (1.40, 4.38)], and neonates treated with phototherapy and oxygen [AOR=0.22, 95%CI:(0.088,0.54)], [AOR=0.47,95%CI:(0.22,0.99)] were factors associated with poor treatment outcome. Conclusion: The causes of admission in the study setting were mainly neonatal sepsis, hypothermia, and low birthweight. Residency, low birth weight, respiratory distress syndrome, having neonatal sepsis, treatment with phototherapy, and treatment with oxygen were independent factors. The hospital administrators and staff should strengthen thequality of care provided at the unit and strengthening early detection and prevention of neonatal problems during postpartum periods are means of decreasing poor treatment outcomes.

Comparative fiqh has a long tradition of recording juristic agreement, difference, reasoning, and contextual variation, but contemporary multi-source research additionally requires an auditable chain from a precisely defined legal proposition to source authority, evidence location, coding decision, uncertainty, human review, and bounded interpretation. This article presents Version 2.0.0 of the Twelve-Pillar Framework for Comparative Jurisprudence (TPF-CJ) as a pre-validation, design-science framework for structured comparison across five focal legal schools: Jaʿfarī, Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī, and Ḥanbalī. The Version 1 taxonomy and its source-reported applied Shia-Ḥanafī lineage were re-specified through documentary artifact analysis of the supplied synopsis, Version 2 workbook, and user guide. The resulting architecture separates six core comparative-jurisprudence pillars from six optional institutional, foresight, media, and global-engagement pillars; defines the Case as proposition × school/scope × jurisdiction × period × version; and adds source, evidence, data-quality, formula, reviewer, ethics, decision, and release gates. The current registry contains 240 design-derived candidate indicators, with 20 records per pillar, four controlled formula families, missing-not-zero rules, context-specific targets, provisional weighting controls, claim traceability, and a staged validation roadmap. TPF-CJ therefore provides a pluralism-preserving bridge between qualitative comparative jurisprudence and auditable research governance. It may support source-grounded profiles, teaching, institutional learning, and controlled pilots, but it cannot yet support universal thresholds, causal claims, school rankings, or validated cross-case composites. Specialist review, primary-source mapping, empirical pilot data, reliability testing, and measurement-invariance assessment remain pending.

In contemporary Uzbekistan, Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) and delayed ossification of the femoral head (caput femoris) have escalated from minor orthopedic anomalies into a critical, widespread public health crisis. Clinical and pediatric rehabilitation registries indicate that approximately 80–90% of infants present with varying degrees of hip joint insufficiency. This study conceptualizes the root causes of DDH not merely as isolated congenital defects, but as systemic failures driven by archaic socio-cultural dynamics, severe atmospheric pollution, and a nutritional emergency triggered by Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and ultra-processed, micronutrient-depleted diets. To counteract this epidemic and eliminate preventable pediatric musculoskeletal disabilities, this paper introduces a highly safe, validated dual-stage preventive national protocol spanning from targeted prenatal biochemical optimization to disciplined postnatal anatomical and clinical vigilance.

Acquired hemophilia is rare and the presentation of a spontaneous hematoma on the floor of the mouth is very unusual. We present an unusual case of an older adultpatient who presented a spontaneous hematoma on the floor of the mouth without apparent cause, with acquired hemophilia A. The data source for the case was the patient's medical history. When reviewing the literature only 13 reported cases of upper airway bleeding have been reported in patients with diagnosed acquired hemophilia, withmales the most affected and the mean age of patients being 69.53 years. Differential diagnoses, imaging, radiographs, scans and laboratory tests help to establish a timely diagnosis and act quickly.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed financial management practices, particularly through the adoption of digital accounting systems among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Digital accounting enables entrepreneurs to improve financial record-keeping, enhance decision-making, and increase operational efficiency. Despite its potential benefits, the level of digital accounting acceptance varies across regions due to differences in technological readiness, digital literacy, socio-cultural environments, and institutional support. This study aims to comparatively examine the factors influencing the acceptance of digital accounting among women-owned MSMEs in Bali, Indonesia, and Bacolod City, Philippines, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the primary theoretical framework. This study employs a literature review approach by synthesizing empirical findings from recent scholarly publications, international reports, and theoretical studies related to digital accounting adoption, women entrepreneurship, and technology acceptance. The review indicates that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use remain the strongest determinants of digital accounting acceptance in both countries. However, several contextual factors—including digital literacy, government support, financial capability, entrepreneurial experience, and social influence—significantly strengthen or weaken technology adoption. The comparative analysis further reveals that women entrepreneurs in Bali are primarily motivated by business efficiency, tourism-driven digitalization, and government digital transformation programs, whereas women entrepreneurs in Bacolod City demonstrate stronger reliance on technological readiness, financial inclusion initiatives, and entrepreneurial networking. The findings suggest that integrating contextual variables into the Technology Acceptance Model provides a more comprehensive understanding of digital accounting acceptance among women-owned MSMEs in developing economies. This literature contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital accounting adoption and provides practical implications for policymakers in designing inclusive digital transformation strategies for women entrepreneurs in Indonesia and the Philippines.

ABSTRACT:
This study investigates an eco-friendly approach to cotton fabric coloration using a natural dye extracted from achiote tree seeds (Bixa orellana) combined with a sustainable, bio-mordant. The primary objective is to extract and characterize plant based biodegradable natural dye and mordant that can be used as alternative option for toxic synthetic colorants and hazardous metallic mordants in dyeing of cotton. Through optimized alkaline extraction at 85°C for 2 hours, a maximum crude dye yield of 25 % was achieved. Subsequent exhaust dyeing trials demonstrated optimum color strength (K/S) of 5.18. The protein-mordanted cotton substrates exhibited reliable fastness characteristics, presenting a sustainable, non-hazardous alternative for eco-conscious textile product development.
