Abstract: Background: Pomegranate peel and albedo are usually discarded during fruit consumption and processing, although these by-products may contain phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, and other antioxidant constituents. Local evidence from District Khuzdar, Balochistan is limited. Objective: This study compared the phytochemical profile and antioxidant potential of aqueous and 80% methanolic extracts of pomegranate peel and albedo collected from District Khuzdar. Methods: Mature fruits were collected from four areas of Khuzdar, authenticated as Punica granatum L., separated into peel and albedo fractions, shade dried, powdered, and extracted with de-ionized water and 80% methanol. Extracts were evaluated by qualitative phytochemical tests, total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), total tannin content (TTC), DPPH radical scavenging activity, ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), and total antioxidant capacity (TAC). Results: Methanolic peel extract showed a significantly higher (p < 0.05) TPC than all other extracts. (28.60 +/- 1.35%), TPC (232.76 +/- 5.24 mg GAE/g), TFC (96.84 +/- 3.12 mg QE/g), TTC (139.72 +/- 4.46 mg TAE/g), FRAP (894.73 +/- 21.36 umol Fe(II)/g), and TAC (372.61 +/- 11.27 mg AAE/g). It also had the lowest extract IC50 in the DPPH assay (38.64 +/- 1.15 ug/mL), indicating the strongest radical scavenging activity among plant extracts. Albedo extracts showed moderate activity, with methanol performing better than water. TPC was strongly and inversely correlated with DPPH IC50 (r = -0.94) and positively correlated with FRAP (r = 0.96). Conclusion: Pomegranate peel from District Khuzdar, particularly the 80% methanolic extract, is a promising local source of antioxidant phytochemicals. Further chromatographic characterization, safety evaluation, and application-based studies are recommended before nutraceutical, food-preservative, or cosmetic use.

In order to choose the best course of therapy for each individual patient, laryngoscopy is a key part of the diagnostic process since it helps to distinguish between different types of laryngeal lesions. Benign lesions like vocal cord nodules and intracordal cysts are the most frequently encountered on laryngoscopic imaging. The mainstay lines of treatment for children's are that directed that directed to the cause in addition toavoidance of harmful vocal habits. Vocal training is an integral part of chronic vocal disorder treatment in addition tospeech therapy.
