Abstract: The objectives of this research are 1). To analyze the production level and profitability of seaweed cultivation business in East Lombok Regency 2). To determine the influence of the use of production inputs for seaweed cultivation business in East Lombok Regency 3). To analyze the technical efficiency of the seaweed cultivation business in East Lombok Regency 4). To find out the obstacles faced in the seaweed cultivation business in East Lombok. This study uses a descriptive method. Data collection by quantitative and qualitative data type interview methods. The respondents in this study are seaweed farmers in Seriwe Village because it is a cultivation center in East Lombok Regency. The determination of respondents was determined using the Degree of Variability because the number of samples was already known. The results of the study show that the production produced by farmers in carrying out seaweed cultivation business is 1,040 kg per cultivated land area or 43.33 kg per are, with a selling price of 20,000/kg. The average profit per production process is IDR 10,458,265 or IDR 435,761 per are. Production inputs that do not affect the seaweed cultivation business are experience, while the variables of land area, labor, number of seeds and rope length greatly influence. Seaweed cultivation in East Lombok Regency is technically efficient. The average technical efficiency value is 0.98. The obstacles faced by seaweed cultivators in the country are unconducive weather, minimal availability of seeds, pests and diseases (ice-ice), and still lack of capital.

nxsut 3.0 - Global Environmentally-Extended Supply-Use table in physical units
This repository contains the 2023-2025 releases of nxsut 3.0, the supply-use database for environmental impact analysis built by eNextGen and the SESAM research group of Politecnico di Milano on top of EXIOBASE Hybrid v3.3.18 with MARIO.
How it is built
The original EXIOBASE database is updated in terms of electricity supply (from EMBER) and trade mixes (from ENTSO-E) to represent electricity production and trade of 2023-2025. ENTSO-E provides data only for European countries: development releases - for internal use only - of nxsut included other data from other sources to represent electricity trades for non-EU countries. nxsut 3.0, however, relies only on ENTSOE for licensing purposes. Plus, we did not notice significant differences in electricity carbon footprint of non-EU countries even without applying trade corrections.
Electricity commodity is pooled: this means that, although the original database is in Isard format, a fictitious activity - Electricity - supply - is introduced in each region, absorbing all domestic and imported consumption of electricity of its region. Electricity trade is then represented on the supply matrix, with a "Chenery-Moses-like" arrangement, where in each region, all Electricity - supply activities domestically produce or export a fictitious commodity - Electricity - need. A didactic example is described on the MARIO documentation.
The nxsut building pipeline imports also the procedure provided by Ghezzi et al to introduce +20 new activities related to innovative steelmaking technologies, including hydrogen production. Ghezzi et al also introduce a reallocation of blast furnace gases emissions to the iron and steel manufacturing activity, which makes both electricity and steel carbon footprint more aligned to literature ranges in most regions.
Raw inputs are progressively governed in nxbase, the eNextGen data backbone, and reach this pipeline through nxbase's public read-only API.
Rationale
nxsut core use cases are carbon footprinting and modelling: while the original EXIOBASE Hybrid database refer to 2011, we strongly believe using it in 2026 for these specific purposes still makes a lot of sense, thanks to its physical-unit representation of the global economy and to the workflow we put together to align its result to more recent literature, where it matters most. A blogpost on eNextGen's website shows how electricity carbon footprints from nxsut compares with the most authoritative sources in literature. Carbon footprint of steel are aligned to the one showed in Ghezzi et al. Other work is ongoing - see section below - to make these data easily updatable over time and pragmatically useful for these applications.

This deposit provides the curated dataset and source code behind an interactive, geolocation-aware Public Participation GIS (PPGIS) application for the haiku monuments of Ozaki Hosai (1885–1926) in Tottori City, Japan. The monuments were erected in 2015 to mark the 130th anniversary of the poet's birth, through a movement led by a private civic organisation and subsequently recorded and released as open data by the municipal and prefectural governments.
The register is published by the Tottori Prefecture Open Data Portal under CC BY 4.0. This repository does not replace that source; it supplies curated derivatives that remove specific obstacles to reuse, together with the code that produces them.
Live demo. The GPS-enabled application is deployed at https://moteki.shinyapps.io/tottori_hosai_gps/, with a standard version at https://moteki.shinyapps.io/tottori-hosai-monuments/. The map switches between the standard and satellite imagery of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan and renders each monument's haiku, site, address, and reference page in a structured popup. The deployment runs on a free-tier plan with a monthly limit on active hours; if it is unavailable, the application can be run locally from the files in this repository.
What is new in Version 2.1. Earlier versions archived only the processing and application code, so the dataset itself could not be inspected from this repository. Version 2.1 adds it, in response to two obstacles in the officially distributed files.
The prefecture releases the same register as both CSV and shapefile, and the two are not equivalent. The official shapefile omits the itemID column, truncates a field name mid-character at the ten-byte DBF limit (leaving an unclosed full-width parenthesis), ships without a .cpg declaring its encoding, and allocates 254 bytes to every text field. The shapefile supplied here retains the identifier, uses ASCII field names that fit the limit, declares UTF-8, and reduces the attribute table from 118 KB to 54 KB, with coordinates bit-identical to the official source. A GeoPackage carrying the unabbreviated column names is provided alongside it.
The CSV, for its part, mixes half-width and full-width digits in its address strings, so that a single location can appear as two distinct values; the curated products add a normalised address column rather than altering the original. An RDS file preserving the source register without modification is also included, together with the script that regenerates every derivative from the official CSV.
The four monuments that were never built. Civic records describe 119 monuments while the official register contains 115. A written inquiry to the Cultural Exchange Division of Tottori City, answered on 22 May 2026, established that the discrepancy is not an omission in the data: four monuments planned for the sites of the former and new city halls were deferred when the 2014 commemorative project coincided with the relocation of those buildings. The Machinaka Kōryū Hiroba plaza, completed on the former city hall lot in March 2026, has since emerged as a candidate site for all four. The register records what physically exists rather than what was planned.

Literasi digital merupakan kemampuan pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 untuk mengetahui, menemukan, menggunakan, mengevaluasi, dan membedakan kualitas informasi kesehatan di internet untuk membuat keputusan terkait kesehatan. Kepatuhan Manajemen Diet merupakan perilaku penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 untuk mematuhi anjuran diet (jadwal makan, konsumsi buah/sayur, serat, protein, omega-3, serta menghindari gula dan lemak). Kepatuhan pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 terhadap manajemen diet di Rumah Sakit Citra Husada Jember menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini, yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan tingkat literasi digital kesehatan yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini mengadopsi desain studi observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 53 responden yang dipilih secara purposive dengan mengacu pada kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen eHEALS dan PDAQ, yang masing-masing digunakan untuk mengukur literasi digital kesehatan dan kepatuhan manajemen diet. Hubungan kedua variabel kemudian diuji secara statistik menggunakan korelasi Spearman Rho. Uji korelasi Spearman Rho menghasilkan p-value sebesar 0,005, yang berada di bawah ambang batas signifikansi (α = 0,05), serta koefisien korelasi r = 0,378. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan searah antara literasi digital kesehatan dan kepatuhan manajemen diet pada pasien DM tipe 2. Artinya, semakin baik literasi digital kesehatan pasien, semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepatuhan mereka terhadap diet.

Understanding How Academic Libraries in the United States Navigate Uncertain Times: Results from Ithaka S+R's 2025 US Library Deans and Directors Survey

Over the past year, research libraries across the United States have faced severe budget reductions coupled with personnel hiring freezes. Underlying these challenges is a political climate increasingly antagonistic to the independence of higher education and the scholarly record. As a result, library leaders are making difficult decisions around how to safeguard users’ fundamental rights to access knowledge, where to restructure staffing, and how to sustain or strategically reduce collections. These compounding pressures raise critical questions about the contemporary role of the research library in a nation grappling with profound social and political change. While such dynamics are currently acute in the United States, the challenges they reflect are shared globally. Thus, understanding how library leaders in the United States are navigating these conditions can offer insights that translate across national contexts.
This presentation will share key findings from Ithaka S+R’s 2025 US Library Deans and Directors Survey, with a particular focus on evolving perceptions of the core values that underpin academic libraries and the changing nature of library work. Since its inception in 2010, this triennial online survey has provided foundational data on both longstanding and emerging priorities for library leaders. Each cycle offers longitudinal insights into libraries’ core services and responsibilities while introducing new questions that address novel strategic concerns. This cycle, fielded Fall 2025, explored several new areas, including library leaders’ confidence in their ability to guide their organizations through times of change, how libraries are adapting services and workflows in response to operational budget cuts, the perceived role of the library in protecting academic freedom and access to knowledge, and the function of the library within the third role of the institution to engage broadly with the community. The survey was distributed to all deans and directors of four-year, not-for-profit academic libraries in the United States, yielding responses from 36 percent of all such leaders (n = 492).
Respondents indicated their views using 5- and 7-point Likert scales across a battery of measures aligned with the aforementioned topical areas. We will present results derived from descriptive statistics and a suite of inferential techniques, including independent-samples t-tests, correlation analyses, and one-way ANOVAs with Tukey’s HSD post-hoc comparisons to examine variation across libraries of different sizes and institutional profiles. Where applicable, we will draw on longitudinal data from prior survey cycles to illustrate how library leaders’ perceptions and strategies have shifted in response to acute organizational, social, and political change. In addition, we will present findings by region, highlighting how library leaders are responding to real and potential political threats across the United States.
The findings reveal a library environment characterized by significant operational strain, organizational change, and growing uncertainty. At the same time, the data also reveal emergent areas of innovation, most notably the adoption of generative AI tools to augment traditional library work. We highlight functional areas in which AI is being integrated and the resulting changes to staff workflows. Taken together, the survey data illustrate how myriad interconnected factors are accelerating change within the working environments of research libraries.
We will conclude the presentation with a discussion of the global implications of these findings, situating them within the international circulation of scholarship and students and highlighting how library leaders in other national contexts might leverage these insights to anticipate and respond to similar pressures.
