This study analyses the surface of copper-coatedartistic glass produced by electroforming technique,using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as theprimary characterisation tool. Non-conductive glass substrates were rendered conductive with a powdered-graphite layer and then coated with copper in an acidic copper-sulphate bath. Two families of experimentswere carried out on 3 × 3 cm × 5 mm tiles: a voltageseries (0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 V) and a current series (0.1, 0.2and 0.3 A), each at holding times of 25, 50 and 100minutes, with all other parameters held constant. SEMimaging of the graphite layer, of every depositioncondition, and of the deposit in profile reveals asystematic evolution of the copper morphology. Atlow-to-moderate driving force (0.1–0.2 V, 0.1 A) withsufficient time the deposit consists of fine, coalesced,comparatively smooth grains that form bright,homogeneous films; at 0.2 V it is densest and mostuniform. As the driving force increases (0.3 V and,most markedly, 0.2–0.3 A) the copper grows as coarsethree-dimensional botryoidal (cauliflower-like) spherulites separated by deep crevices, a rough, light-scattering morphology that corresponds to the dark and eventually black surfaces observedmacroscopically; a profile view confirms thecolumnar, mounded growth habit at high current. Adistinctive methodological feature of the work is theuse of powdered graphite, rather than silver or liquidcopper pastes, as the conductivity layer. The SEMevidence provides a micro-structural explanation forthe macroscopic colour and texture and yields areproducible parameter map that allows the artist tosteer the surface from bright metallic to dark patinatedthrough voltage or current and time alone.

The profession of soldiering is unique because it combines the legal authority to use force with the ethical responsibility to protect the nation while respecting human dignity and constitutional values. Beyond military skills and discipline, a professional soldier is expected to demonstrate integrity, courage, honour, accountability, selfless service, and respect for the rule of law. These human values are essential for maintaining public trust and ensuring the legitimate exercise of military power. This paper examines the relationship between law, ethics, and soldiering in the Indian Army from a jurisprudential perspective. It draws upon major schools of jurisprudence, including natural law, legal positivism, sociological jurisprudence, and interpretivist theory, to explain how ethical values influence military leadership, decision-making, discipline, and professional conduct. The study also analyses the constitutional and legal framework governing the Indian Army, particularly the Constitution of India, the Army Act, 1950, and the concept of constitutional morality. The paper further discusses contemporary challenges such as counter-insurgency operations, artificial intelligence, cyber warfare, and evolving human rights expectations, which require military personnel to balance operational effectiveness with ethical and legal responsibilities. It concludes that human values form the foundation of military professionalism and act as a bridge between military law and military ethics. Strengthening value-based leadership and constitutional commitment will enhance the effectiveness, credibility, and democratic legitimacy of the Indian Army in an increasingly complex security environment.

This article explores the foundational role of improvisation in the development of creative thinking, with a particular focus on the poetic and journalistic works of Tileubergen Jumamuratov, a prominent figure in Karakalpak literature. Through a detailed literary and psychological analysis, the study investigates how improvisational skills, rooted in folklore and oral traditions, serve as a vehicle for philosophical, didactic, and satirical expression. Drawing from Jumamuratov’s verses, feuilletons, and lyrical publicism, the article demonstrates how his works embody the ideals of social justice, environmental awareness, and moral upbringing. The study also considers the intersection of creative and critical thinking as a pedagogical subject, highlighting how Jumamuratov’s life and legacy serve as educational tools in fostering intellectual development. The article synthesizes perspectives from psychology, cultural studies, and literary criticism to frame improvisation not merely as a performative skill but as a multifaceted creative phenomenon that influences personal growth, societal engagement, and journalistic integrity. The poet’s ability to spontaneously articulate ideas in poetic form is examined as an advanced intellectual and emotional capacity that remains relevant in contemporary pedagogical and cultural contexts.

This dataset contains processed data used for the experiments presented in articles  "Optimal Transport-Based Clustering of Attributed Graphs with an Application to Road Traffic Data", and "Integrating Structure and Attributes for TransportationNetwork Partitioning via Optimal Transport". The dataset includes raw city data provided by an external partner of urban transportation networks and associated attributes used for evaluating the proposed methodology. This repository provides data required to reproduce the experiments, together with metadata describing their origin and preprocessing steps. В статье исследуются тактические особенности допроса свидетелей и потерпевших по делам о преступлениях, совершённых в условиях передвижного состава железнодорожного транспорта, применительно к следственной практике Республики Казахстан и Республики Узбекистан. На основе анализа уголовных дел и анкетирования следователей разработана классификация категорий допрашиваемых по данной категории дел. Особое внимание уделено тактике преодоления ложных показаний работников транспорта, имеющих корпоративный интерес в исходе дела. Разработана матрица предметов допроса для каждой категории в привязке к типичным следственным ситуациям.

This repository contains expert-annotated datasets for pharmacokinetic (PK) entity normalisation in biomedical literature. The datasets support the development and evaluation of methods that map textual mentions of PK parameters to standardised concepts in an expanded PK parameter ontology. Two complementary corpora are provided: Sentence corpus: PK parameter mentions identified in sentences sampled from PubMed abstracts. Table corpus: PK parameter mentions identified in cells sampled from PK-relevant tables in PubMed Central Open Access articles. Each corpus is divided into predefined training, validation, and test sets. Every record represents one candidate PK mention and includes the source text, character-level entity span, tokenisation information, and a gold-standard ontology label. Sentence records include bibliographic metadata such as the PMID and PubMed URL. Table records include the complete source table in HTML format, together with its caption, footer, table identifier, and target-cell coordinates. Candidate mentions were independently annotated by two pharmacometricians using an expanded PK ontology, with disagreements resolved by a third reviewer. Mentions that did not correspond to an available ontology concept, including non-PK entities or out-of-scope parameters, were assigned the ontology’s NIL label. The annotation process and resulting corpora were developed for evaluating heuristic, representation-based, and large-language-model-assisted approaches to PK entity normalisation. The PK ontology and annotation guidelines for the sentence and table corpus are included. Please see the included README for further details.
