This is a dataset of 246 species (one state listed species has been removed from the original set of 247 species for legal reasons) occurring across 13 wetlands in a preserve network in northeast Illinois. We use species presence data for community level attributes (funtional, phylogenetic, and taxonomic) in addition to at-risk species to priotitize site groups.

A significant environmental and public health risks derive from civil construction as a major source of air pollution, particularly through the emission of particulate matter (PM). Demolition, earthmoving, transportation, material handling, and on-site production processes, continue to generate substantial PM emissions, despite technological advances. This work assessed the characteristics and behavior of PM, highlighting the differences between fine and coarse fractions and the associated toxicological implications. The paper aims to revised current European regulations for PM10 and PM2.5 including proposed updates to align with WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations. Exposure to PM leads to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as to premature mortality worldwide. The study collects and systematizes several practical mitigation measures applicable to all construction works stages. Reducing PM emissions requires robust planning, constant monitoring, and sustainable construction practices. Implementing an efficient environmental management plan is mandatory to reduce emissions and protect both humans and communities.

Access to venture capital (VC) plays a pivotal role in startup growth; however, women entrepreneurs continue to encounter substantial barriers when seeking this form of financing. Although research on VC, startups, and gender has expanded considerably in recent years, the resulting body of knowledge remains fragmented. Accordingly, this study examines the intellectual structure and evolution of this research domain through a bibliometric analysis of 152 publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Using Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny, the analysis incorporated scientific performance, citation, co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic structure techniques. The findings reveal a rapidly consolidating field organized around three major research streams: gender disparities in access to VC, investor bias and evaluation processes, and the role of strategic resources and entrepreneurial ecosystems. The analysis also highlights a transition from studies emphasizing financing inequalities toward perspectives centered on legitimacy, signaling, diversity, and financial inclusion. Finally, the study advances an integrative framework and identifies promising directions for future research.

This dataset provides per-pixel dead fuel moisture (DFM) derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) backscatter. The SAR data was acquired by NASA/JPL’s Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle Synthetic Aperture Radar (UAVSAR) instrument between 2010-04-26 and 2025-08-14 (13 data acquisitions) over the Sedgwick Reserve, California. Radiometric terrain correction (RTC) was applied to the SAR backscatter data to flatten the image and remove unreliable areas under terrain shadow. UAVSAR time-series data has shown a good correlation with the 7-day average of 1-hr DFM at the Remote Automatic Weather Stations (RAWS) stations within the Sedgwick Reserve area. The dependency of SAR backscatter to fuel load/structure was detrended using the tree canopy cover (TCC) derived from airborne lidar observations. A linear regression is applied to detrended SAR backscatter and 7-day average 1-hr DFM and the model is used subsequently to generate DFM estimates over the Sedgwick Reserve. The 1-hr DFM data are part of the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS) model outputs and are available for various weather station networks on Fire Environment Mapping System (FEMS): https://fems.fs2c.usda.gov. Airborne lidar data was acquired as part of the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM) in November 2020 (Brande, K., (2021); https://doi.org/10.5069/G9C53J18). UAVSAR data are courtesy of NASA/JPL-Caltech (www.uavsar.jpl.nasa.gov), and can be accessed through the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF).

This is the slide deck presented at the ADHO DH2026 in Daejeon, South Korea, on July 30, 2026. The presentation looks at how GLAM institutions (galleries, libraries, archives, museums) fit into Open Science. GLAM data are created to document and preserve collections rather than to answer research questions, so they often sit outside standard research data frameworks despite their research value. The talk presents FedOSC, an initiative connecting Belgium's Federal Scientific Institutes around Open Science, and focuses on its work engaging the GLAM community, from surveys and interviews to institutional assessments, first achievements, lessons learned, and next steps in building a learning community and practical RDM guidance.

महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम (मनरेगा) भारत की अधिकार-आधारित ग्रामीण रोजगार नीति का प्रमुख आधार है। यह अध्ययन ग्रामीण रोजगार सृजन, आय सुरक्षा, सामाजिक समावेशन, परिसंपत्ति निर्माण तथा प्रशासनिक उत्तरदायित्व के संदर्भ में मनरेगा की प्रभावशीलता की नीतिगत समीक्षा करता है। विश्लेषण से स्पष्ट होता है कि कार्यक्रम ने कृषि के अवकाश काल में रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने, महिलाओं तथा वंचित समुदायों की श्रम भागीदारी बढ़ाने, स्थानीय मजदूरी पर सकारात्मक दबाव बनाने और जल, भूमि तथा सामुदायिक परिसंपत्तियों के निर्माण में उपयोगी भूमिका निभाई है। इसके प्रभाव को रोजगार की अपर्याप्त उपलब्धता, मजदूरी भुगतान में विलंब, स्थानीय संस्थागत क्षमता की कमी, डिजिटल बहिष्करण, कमजोर सामाजिक अंकेक्षण और राज्यों के बीच असमान कार्यान्वयन सीमित करते हैं। समीक्षा का निष्कर्ष है कि समयबद्ध वित्तपोषण, मांग का सही पंजीकरण, स्वतंत्र सामाजिक अंकेक्षण, पंचायतों की तकनीकी क्षमता, डेटा-आधारित योजना और कृषि व जलवायु-अनुकूल कार्यों के साथ बेहतर समन्वय कार्यक्रम की गुणवत्ता बढ़ा सकते हैं।
