This report presents the design, implementation and results of three co-design activities conducted during the ANERIS mid-term in-person meeting held in Seville on 26–27 November 2024. The activities focused on refining infographics for the eleven ANERIS technologies, defining the Operational Marine Biology products associated with the four ANERIS Case Studies, and developing roadmaps for their implementation through the end of the project. The report documents the participatory methodologies used, the contributions of consortium partners, the results obtained for each Case Study, and the next steps required to support the development of the ANERIS Operational Marine Biology products.

Zurich University of the Arts processed data of publications from 2022 to 2025 to provide the absolute figures on Open Access shares of scientific publications by affiliated authors via the Swiss Open Access Monitor (Repository Monitor). Four types of resources are surveyed: journal articles, books, book parts, and conference papers. The dataset includes publication data collected from the institutional research database, and Unpaywall, which underlie the reported absolute figures for the Repository monitor survey in 2026.

Shi'a is an Islamic religious group that emerged in Nigeria consequent to the Iranian revolutionary movement for the establishment of the Islamic nation, which inspired the Al-Zakzakiy to organize some Muslim brothers for a movement to establish the Islamic administration in Nigeria. The struggle had not succeeded in the mission but rather came into conflict with security operatives to safeguard the administrative trend of the then government. The group adopted the religious principles practiced in the Republic of Iran, with some little changes in the cultural practices in Nigeria. The minority group established schools, books, and mosques and organized lecture sessions to impart knowledge of their beliefs and ideologies that often differ (slightly) from that of the Sunni principles in some instances.

Ahl al-Sunnah Group for Preaching and Jihad is a sect or religious group that emerged on the ambition of the leader (Muhammad Yusuf) to establish justice and Islamic Shari'ah in the Nigerian administrative trend, which made the group to stand against anybody not agreeing with their ideologies. The movement took arms to fight those against their principles, which compelled the Nigerian government to win a war against them, which led to the killing of the founder of the organization. The fight extends to the innocent persons who were killed by the fighters in most parts of the North-Eastern Nigeria. The group faced a lot of problems as a result of the administration crises, which split the group into factions that took arms against each other, which led to the death of many among members. The organization was classified among the terrorist groups that created links to the deadliest groups of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) that terrorized the world.

Background and Aim of Study: Examining the impact of war on the value of life among youth is a critical issue in contemporary society. The value of life serves as a psychological resource of equal importance to mental health, resilience. It acts as a key driving force for self-preservation, self-actualisation, coping with adversity, maintaining psychological equilibrium. The aim of the study: to examine university students’ attitudes towards the value of life in wartime, and to determine its impact on their mental health and psychological resilience.Material and Methods: In April 2026, a study was conducted among 89 students from Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine), aged between 18 and 35. The study used three psychological tests: the Value of Life Questionnaire, the Mental Health Continuum – Short Form, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale 10. All scales exhibit a high level of internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha ranging from 0.748 to 0.860).Results: The Value of Life Questionnaire exhibits stable, moderate-to-strong associations with all indicators of positive mental health and personal resilience. The most pronounced scale relationship for the Value of Life Questionnaire was observed with psychological well-being (r=0.493), closely followed by its correlation with the mental health scale in total (r=0.482) and psychological resilience (r=0.461). The regression tracking model is statistically highly stable and significant (F(4, 84)=10.392, p<0.001). The multiple correlation coefficient (R=0.575) denotes a strong linear relationship between the predictor constellation (psychological resilience along with the specific tracking subscales of mental health – emotional, social and psychological well-being) and dependent variable.Conclusions: The present study has clarified the meaning of the concept of “the value of life”. The study confirmed the methodological validity and predictive utility of the Value of Life Questionnaire, and provided empirical proof of its construct validity. The study has important practical implications for the research of mental health in university students during wartime. It is recommended that components promoting the value of life are incorporated into psychoprophylactic and psychotherapeutic programmes, alongside stress management techniques and resilience-building exercises.

Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease primarily controlled by Praziquantel-based Mass Drug Administration (MDA) targeting school-aged children. This study aimed to generate a high-resolution schistosomiasis prevalence map in a region with regular MDA in Madagascar,identify at-risk groups, assess population knowledge, and explore risk factors to supportalignment with WHO guidelines. Conducted between July and October 2022 in the Districtof Vatomandry, Madagascar, this cross-sectional study included participants aged five andolder. Point-of-Care Circulating Cathodic Antigen testing determined infection prevalence.A choropleth map was generated to show the geographical distribution of schistosomeinfection across local communities. Individual risk factors were assessed using hierarchicalPoisson regression. The study included 1,215 households (5,200 participants) from 42 commu-nities revealing a high overall prevalence of 59%. Adjusted prevalence ratios (PR) indicatedhigher infection risks for farmers (PR = 1.17, 95% CI: 1.09–1.25) and older age groups (≥38 years:PR = 1.34, 95% CI: 1.16–1.55; against ≤15 years), while participants with higher education orknowledge about schistosome transmission showed a reduced risk (PR = 0.88, 95% CI:0.78–0.99). The results show high schistosome prevalence in adults, emphasizing the need toadapt strategies in endemic countries to meet the WHO’s 2030 goal of eliminating schistoso-miasis as public health problem.
