This dataset comprises a comprehensive time-series record of flue gas composition measurements obtained from a fluidized bed boiler operation, with data points collected at 10-second intervals over a 40-minute period. The measurements encompass a wide range of gaseous components expressed in volumetric percentages (vol-%) and parts per million (ppm), including water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NO, NO2, N2O), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen chloride (HCl), sulfur dioxide (SO2), methane (CH4), ethene (C2H4), hydrogen fluoride (HF), oxygen (O2), and hydrogen bromide (HBr). This detailed composition profile provides valuable insights into the chemical processes occurring within the boiler during combustion and enables assessment of emission characteristics and operational efficiency of the fluidized bed combustion system.

In the past 10 years, various efforts have been made by inter-governmental expert panels, United Nations agencies, and social movements to define agroecology, resulting in the co-existence of different definitions. We explore the emergence of the three main definitions of agroecology, namely those of the FAO, of the Nyéléni Declaration, and of the High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) of the Committee on World Food Security, through literature search and first-hand experience. We examine specificities and correspondences among the principles of the three definitions. While most principles associated with the three definitions align, we identify five principles that are central to the Nyéléni definition and are omitted, or more peripheral in the FAO and HLPE definitions, namely: (i) the incompatibility of agrotoxics, GMOs and related technologies with agroecology, (ii) the spiritual and non-commodified connection to the land, (iii) a feminist and intersectional approach, (iv) the need to challenge global power structures and, (v) the crucial role of collective self-organization and action to advance agroecology. We discuss the risks and implications of omitting them, or leaving them implicit, for science, policy, and practice in the European context. We conclude that making them explicit would facilitate a more coherent transition toward long-lasting sustainable food systems.

There are many heat enhancing structures available on the market and already researched, but the application of layered composites for their development has not been completely investigated, especially regarding modelling of the physical phenomena of boiling heat transfer and mechanical properties. The present paper presents a modified model of boiling heat transfer and modelling of the strength properties of composite heat exchangers made of mesh layers. The experimental results (obtained by the authors) of the boiling heat transfer of distilled water and ethanol under atmospheric pressure on copper substrates covered with brass, bronze and copper layers were used for modified model development. It needs to be noted that the problem of modelling the heat transfer of such structures has not been properly addressed to date with many issues in need of clarification. The present paper’s novelty is mainly focused on providing a more reliable equation for heat flux regarding boiling on metal composite mesh layers. It also proposes a calculation procedure for selected strength properties of such structures. The application of the modified boiling heat transfer correlation resulted in almost all the measurement points lying within or close to the ±100% error band, while in the case of the original model none of the experimental points was even close to this error band (the differences reached even about one order of magnitude).

This deposit accompanies the paper "Comparing Near-Field Fireworks PM Exposure from a Distributed Sensor Network with Routine Monitoring Stations: A Case Study at Lake Union". It contains the raw sensor measurements, regulatory and meteorological reference data, and the full Python processing and dispersion-modeling pipeline used to produce all results, tables, and figures in the manuscript.
Field campaign. On 4 July 2025, six AeroSpec low-cost particulate matter sensors were deployed within ~2 km of the Independence Day fireworks launch site over Lake Union (Seattle, WA, USA). All six nodes recorded at 1 Hz from 20:00 to 23:30 PDT. Five sensors (S1, S2, S3, S5, S6) were retained for primary analysis; S4 was excluded due to pre-event contamination from a nearby unrelated source and is included here for completeness with a quality-control flag. Deployment coordinates and per-sensor distances to the launch site are documented in the README.
Reference data. The deposit includes hourly PM2.5 and PM10 measurements from three southern EPA Air Quality System (AQS) regulatory stations (10th & Weller, Beacon Hill, Duwamish), hourly AQI from three northern Washington State Department of Ecology stations (Linden Ave N, NE 127th St, College Way N), and 5-minute METAR observations (wind speed, wind direction, temperature, cloud cover) from KSEA (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport).

This dataset is the companion data file for the paper "Scarcity, Auction Revenues and the Financing of the European Transition: A Consistency Check for the EU ETS under the ETS Functioning and Directions for Mechanism Improvement report.
It contains all inputs, intermediate values, and results underlying the paper's analysis of EU ETS auction revenues over 2031-2040. The file is a single CSV organised into seven labelled sections: (1) inputs and parameters (cap, LRF, CBAM factors, GDP, investment needs); (2) Low, Mid and High carbon-price scenarios in EUR/tCO₂; (3) cap, free allocation and auction volumes 2021-2040 in million EUA; (4) annual EU auction revenues by scenario; (5) country data for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands and Sweden (GDP shares and historical EEX auction shares); (6) a country-year projection matrix 2031-2040; and (7) decade totals and coverage ratios.
The paper finds that auction revenues cover only 1.7-4.0% of projected EU energy-system investment needs across the decade, with the volume effect of a tightening cap dominating the price effect from 2031 onwards. Coverage varies widely across Member States, from below 1% in France to about 8% in Poland under the mid scenario. Carbon-pricing effectiveness and transition-financing adequacy, therefore, emerge as related but structurally distinct policy objectives.
