In the Fracture–Berry–Tension (FBT) framework, the effective four-dimensional spacetime metric is interpreted as a coarse-grained response to quantised dual-phase curvature rather than as a fundamental field. Once a symmetric response tensor is introduced on the emergent Lorentzian sector, Lorentz covariance implies a canonical decomposition into a trace scalar mode and a traceless tensor mode. The traceless sector supplies the spintwo-type gravitational response slot, while the trace sector supplies a distinguished scalar response mode.
The purpose of the present paper is to study this scalar response mode as an emergent Higgs-like scalar sector. We do not postulate an independent fundamental Higgs field, nor do we claim here to derive the full Standard Model Higgs doublet. Instead, we argue that the canonical trace component of the response tensor provides a natural low-energy order parameter associated with coarse-grained dual-phase geometry.
The central mechanism—Berry-locking-induced bifurcation of the scalar response—is treated as a structural principle, analogous to the worldline readout postulate of FBT10A. The transition from the local QGT stiffness of FBT06A to the effective scalar potential parameters (μ2, λ) is identified as an open bridge problem, whose conceptual architecture is supported by the rootareaenergy accumulation chain of FBT30A but not yet reduced to an explicit derivation.
Under mild locality, symmetry, and stability assumptions, the effective real-scalar potential takes a Landau double-well form with a broken-symmetry vacuum and a propagating radial scalar fluctuation. Within this interpretation, a Higgs-like scalar order parameter is not a primitive input but an effective rewriting of geometric information already present in Berry curvature, thimble suppression depth, mixed horizontal–vertical density, responsetensor structure, and dual-phase coarse-graining.
The observed Higgs boson may then be interpreted, at the effective low-energy level, as the propagating fluctuation of this scalar response mode around its broken vacuum. The embedding of this response mode into the full electroweak SU(2)L×U(1)Y gauge structure, including Goldstone modes, Yukawa matrices, and precision couplings, is left to later work.

We formulate a unified curvature principle stating that inertial mass and gravitation are dual observational modes of the same underlying quantised dual-phase curvature. The curvature is quantised in the sense of Berry-flux quantisation on the reduced dual-phase torus.
At microscopic scales, this curvature is resolved through localised admissible thimble sectors. Following the semiclassical readout convention of FBT07A, the relevant quantity is not an absolute curvature value but a thimble suppression depth Di. The paper FBT07B clarifies that this depth is intrinsically a curvature-flux area defined modulo the period lattice of the phase curvature. We adopt the convention that effective mass ratios are read from exponential thimble weights:

Deeper thimble sectors are more strongly suppressed in the semiclassical readout and correspond to smaller effective mass scales.
A new principle is introduced: after integrating out internal fluctuations, the dominant thimble weight renormalises the coefficient of the local Lorentzian worldline action,
S(i)eff [x] = −Mids + · · · .
Under adiabatic, low-energy, single-sector dominance, variation of this action yields Fμ =Miaμ, thereby identifying the thimble weight as the inertial mass of the sector. This closes the conceptual gap between the statistical thimble weight and the mechanical inertial response.
A further algebraic root is supplied by the balanced tensionshell condition of FBT01D, which equates the noncentral gate Casimir CT = X2 +Y 2 +Z2 to the central affine S-level kS = 24. Through the Berryflux normalisation, this level determines the dualphase effective area and hence the thimble depth, establishing the chain
CT = kS =Adp/2π= D = logMMref
on the balanced readout branch. Thus inertial mass ultimately originates from the quadratic invariant of the noncentral su(2) tension triad.
At macroscopic scales, the same curvature data are no longer resolved sector by sector. Their coarse-grained collective response is read as gravitation. The spacetime metric is therefore interpreted not as a primitive field but as an effective response geometry

where g(0)μν is the Lorentzian background selected by FBT08A, and ρmix is the local horizontal–vertical mixed density of FBT01A. The pregravitational interface is supplied by the unified curvaturetension equation of FBT12A.
Under locality, general covariance, low curvature, single-metric dominance, and leading derivative ordering, this macroscopic response closes in the infrared to Einstein-type dynamics. General relativity is therefore recovered not as a fundamental postulate, but as the leading infrared closure of the macroscopic curvature mode.

Breeding Bird Survey Campaigns in Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park and the Terrassa Surroundings (UTM DG10) for the Catalonia Breeding Bird Atlas.- This study surveyed breeding birds in Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park during 2016 as part of the Catalonia Breeding Bird Atlas. A total of 80 breeding bird species were recorded, including forest, aquatic, farmland, urban, and raptor species. This essay studies Mexican zombie cinema as a critical site for theorizing what we call the necro-Gothic of care: an aesthetic formation in which necropolitical conditions reshape the meaning and practice of care. Drawing on Achille Mbembe’s concept of necropolitics, Judith Butler’s theorization of grievability, feminist ethics of care, Rita Segato’s notion of pedagogies of cruelty, and Cristina Rivera Garza’s necroescritura, we argue that contemporary Mexican zombie films articulate a necro-poetics of care within a globalgothic perspective — an audiovisual practice that stages relationality with the socially dead without promising restoration or redemption. Through readings of El Santo contra los zombies, Ladronas de almas, Savageland, Halley, MexZombies, and Párvulos: Children of the Apocalypse, this essay traces a shift from restorative Gothic fantasies of rescue to necro-Gothic forms of care that emerge after grievability collapses and belonging becomes possible only beyond the limits of the human. We propose that Mexican Gothic, rather than a mere transplantation of European tropes, constitutes a situated affective grammar forged under conditions of disappearance, racialized violence, and social abandonment.

The present paper begins from this coherent-state and relative-phase geometry. It does not attempt to derive full relativistic dynamics. Instead, it uses an admissible (4+2) readout, an effective dual-phase Berry curvature, a selected residual phase evaluation direction, and a phaselocked vacuum clock readout to define an observer-invariant null propagation structure on theeffective observable sector M4.
A temporal clarification is built into the construction. The vacuum clock used here is not a primitive background time, not merely the microscopic phase parameter before locking, and not the entropy-ordered cosmological arrow. It is the globally comparable clock readout of the Berry-locked vacuum sector. In the terminology of the OMEGA classification of temporality, FBT08A uses the effective Lorentzian time layer: the clock obtained after local phase clocks become globally comparable under phase locking.
A central clarification is that the S-gate is not identified with the full dual-phase torus. The full relative phase sector remains two-dimensional. The S-mode is used here only as a distinguished one-dimensional readout line inside T2rel, allowing the effective Berry curvature to be evaluated into a scalar propagation functional.
The main result is structural: under natural smoothness, nondegeneracy, locality, homogeneity, and isotropy assumptions in the Berry-locked vacuum regime, the resulting null propagation cone determines a Lorentzian conformal structure on M4, unique up to positive local rescaling. In the flat vacuum sector this conformal class admits a distinguished representative locallyisometric to Minkowski spacetime. Thus the paper supplies a kinematical bridge:

The adaptations of Don Quixote into lianhuanhua, a type of small illustrated book native to China, have not yet been studied. To fill this gap, the present research aims to develop a brief history of lianhuanhua during the twentieth century, and to conduct an identification and analysis of all lianhuanhua adaptations of Don Quixote produced during the aforementioned century. Regarding this last issue, five found works covering the period from 1960 to 1988 are examined. This study relies on a qualitative methodological framework, occasionally supported by quantitative approach, and is conceptually grounded in intermediality. Among the main findings, it is concluded that all the adaptations include the most famous episodes of Don Quixote, the text and illustrations primarily establish a symbiotic relationship to construct meaning, and some versions incorporate intermedial references that connect with various French artists.
