Background: Gallstone ileus is an uncommon mechanical bowel obstruction caused by migration and impaction of a gallstone through a bilioenteric fistula. Its nonspecific presentation may delay diagnosis, whereas computed tomography can demonstrate the characteristic combination of intestinal obstruction, pneumobilia, and an ectopic gallstone. Case presentation: A 58-year-old man with no reported chronic diseases presented with six days of colicky mesogastric and hypogastric pain, nausea, gastrobiliary vomiting, progressive abdominal distension, and absence of stool and flatus. Plain abdominal radiographs showed dilated small-bowel loops and multiple air-fluid levels. After 24 hours without improvement under initial conservative management, computed tomography revealed pneumobilia, gastric and small-bowel dilatation, and a 25-mm ectopic stone in the ileum, consistent with Rigler’s triad. Emergency exploratory laparotomy identified a cholecystoduodenal fistula and a 3-cm gallstone impacted 25 cm proximal to the ileocecal valve. Enterolithotomy and primary enterorrhaphy were performed; the gallbladder and fistula were not addressed during the index operation. The patient resumed oral intake after four postoperative days and was discharged on postoperative day six without complications. Subsequent follow-up was reported as favorable. Conclusion: In patients with otherwise unexplained small-bowel obstruction, early recognition of Rigler’s triad can establish the diagnosis of gallstone ileus. Enterolithotomy alone is a reasonable obstruction-relieving strategy when a longer one-stage biliary procedure is not considered appropriate; definitive management should be individualized according to physiologic reserve, intraoperative findings, and biliary symptoms. The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) has introduced new possibilities in personalized education and intelligent learning systems. This paper proposes an AI Study Assistant using Vector Database and Large Language Models that enables students to interact with educational documents through intelligent question answering. The proposed system implements a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework, where uploaded PDF documents are processed, converted into semantic embeddings, and stored in a vector database. When a user submits a query, the system retrieves the most relevant document sections using similarity search and provides accurate responses through an integrated Large Language Model. Unlike traditional search-based learning platforms, the proposed approach understands the context of user queries and generates meaningful answers from the provided study materials. The system helps students reduce manual searching time, improve knowledge understanding, and achieve personalized learning experiences.

Poverty is a multidimensional problem that is not only influenced by economic factors, but also by the quality of human resources, labor market conditions, and income distribution. This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, the Human Development Index (HDI), the open unemployment rate, and income inequality on poverty levels in 34 Indonesian provinces during the 2015-2024 period. The data used are secondary panel data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) totaling 340 observations, which were analyzed using panel data regression with the help of EViews software. The results of the Chow test and the Hausman test indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the best estimation model. The estimation results show that partially, inflation has a positive but insignificant effect on poverty; the HDI has a negative and significant effect; the open unemployment rate has a negative but insignificant effect; while income inequality (Gini ratio) has a positive and significant effect on poverty. Simultaneously, the four independent variables have a significant effect on poverty with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 98.62%. These findings indicate that improving the quality of human resources and controlling income inequality are key factors in efforts to reduce poverty in Indonesia compared to controlling inflation or reducing unemployment in isolation.

This study develops a fractional-order elastoplastic constitutive model for rubber granular mixtures (RGMs). Within the critical state framework, a shift stress characterises the nonlinear CSL in  space and its dependence on rubber content. A fractional derivative determines the plastic flow direction, yielding a non-associated flow rule without an independent plastic potential parameter. Based on this formulation, a state-dependent dilatancy relation is derived to capture both volumetric contraction and dilation during shearing. Combined with bounding surface plasticity, the model reproduces the response of RGMs under complex stress paths. The results demonstrate accurate predictions of volumetric deformation, hardening/softening response, and stress-state dependent behaviors of RGMs (e.g. rubber-solid waste mixtures, and sand-rubber mixtures) under different confining pressures, loading paths, and rubber contents.
