Neural Correlates of Experience

Recently we published an article about the neural correlates of experience. More specifically, the research tries to explore what parts of the brain are activated when a more experienced person engages in an activity as opposed to an inexperienced person.

It is very easy to distinguish experience from non-experience on the behavioral level. An inexperienced driver lurches the car, swirls the bicycle, and plays shots poorly. An experienced person, however, appears to do all such things with considerable ease. A curious question to ask then is what changes occur in the mind of the person in going from inexperience to experience? This seminal paper tries to address this question. Please peruse!
